TÜPRAŞ Izmir Refinery Natural Gas Grid Lines, Material Supply, Manufacturing and Installation Works

Manufacturing and erection of natural gas conversion pipelines in TÜPRAŞ IzmirRefinery Management area were completed in the following stages:
- A branch was taken from the RMS-A Station located in TÜPRAŞ Izmir RefineryManagement area and 10”, 8” and 6” API 5L Gr B. pipes with a total length of3.500m were manufactured and erected.
- RS-B station (80.000m³/h) was mounted as a skid and the pressure of the naturalgas was decreased from 40bar to 3.2bar in order to burn the natural gas withinTÜPRAŞ boilers.
- The external surfaces of the pipes were grit blasted and then painted with epoxypaints.
- Cathodic protection was installed for the underground pipes.
