Atatürk Airport Jet Fuel Management Hydrant Line Construction

In scope of 24” Jet fuel hydrant line erection works, starting from POAŞ Atatürk Air Supply Directorate Facilities to Atatürk Airport Domestic Flights Terminal Building, 3 set of pumps and filters/water separators procurement, erection and renewal of motor control center (MMC) for all pumps;
- In parallel of existing 24” fuel transfer line, a new 24” fuel hydrant pipeline (800m) was constructed. Fuel hydrant line, starting from Pump station exit flange point, passing under the airport ring road by casing crossing, ended up at Domestic Flights Terminal Valve room.
- 16”, 12” Valve chambers constructed in airport area,
- 3 water proof valve chamber covers (comply with navigation standards), and stairs were procured and erected.
- 3 new pump and filter separator were procured and installed; all the modifications were managed without interrupting the existing 24” jet fuel hydrant system fuel supply.
